Back when Martin Bentsen was a graduating senior from high school in Lakewood, Colorado, he had no idea what he would become or where his interest in film would take him. He had only just begun to learn about the details and intricacies involved in filmmaking: the huge amount of work required to create and write a film from beginning to end, the depths to which one must go to capture the right moment in an actor's performance, and the persistence one needs to continuously reedit a scene until it is the best it can possibly be. Not to mention the tenacity and perseverance it takes to find and build a film's audience.

Upon entering NYU's Maurice Kanbar's Institute of Film and Television, Martin slowly began acquiring this knowledge, and a better sense of direction appeared in his life. He realized that he needed to create his own production company, something that could generate enough income to support his filmmaking ambitions. And so he started MJB Home Entertainment, LLC.

Martin Bentsen has teamed up Ben Fillion to run a successful media business in New York City.

A graduate of the Film and Television program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Martin Bentsen has been interested in filmmaking since he was nine years old. He has always loved to tell stories and try new ways to show them through film. As he grew older, he became increasingly interested in graphics, special effects, and bringing an air of professionalism to all his projects. He has always had a passion for bringing visions to life on screen, and continues to do so through visual media. At this point, he owns two registered companies, MJB Home Entertainment (www.mjbhomeentertainment.com), which serves clients through photography and videography services (weddings, events, headshots, etc.), and MJB Films, which creates films, renders special effects, and makes music videos and documentaries. Martin is currently finishing his first feature film, called Mozart of Rap, which he hopes to distribute on DVD and run in film festivals.

Ben Fillion, an NYU graduate, is a creative, forward-thinking entertainment industry entrepreneur with experience in artist branding, licensing, and PR, with a firm knowledge of the inner workings of the music industry. He has a progressive mindset focused on seeking out and capitalizing on new business opportunities for independent artists and start-up companies, arising from an uncertain and rapidly changing environment fostered around media consumption.  

Ben is an experienced songwriter, arranger, and producer who has written and produced hundreds of songs in various genres (Roots Reggae, Acoustic Pop, Classic Rock, Indie Rock, Rap, Jazz, and Classical).  Additionally, he has trained with some of the best producers in the industry, namely Robert Sadin (grammy nominated albums with Sting, Wayne Shorter, and Herbie Hancock, just to name a few) and Phil Galdstone (worked with Celine Dion, Yolanda Adams, Aaron Neville, Jefferson Starship, Vanessa Williams and many others).
